We believe design to be the interface between us and our environment and that sustainable relationships can be defined through the creation of processes, materials, objects, and spaces. We consider ourselves problem seekers through the act of designing and the artifacts we create.
Sustainable design is not a noun. Sustainable describes an ever-changing relationship between organisms or systems. Design is an action–the intentionality we use to shape our environment, and thus is at the core of our evolving reciprocal relationships. Sustainable design is a dynamic process of understanding and of redefinition and, at its core, is a cultural phenomenon.
